Garn Fach Bed and Breakfast
Beth and Geoff welcome you to Garn Fach Bed and Breakfast in the village of Llanwnda on Strumble Head, just a couple of miles from Fishguard and Goodwick. We offer comfortable and quiet 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation in our two en-suite rooms. Both rooms are on the ground floor, and there’s a comfortable guest lounge with a wood-burning stove for those chillier evenings.
From the house and garden, we have views down to the Strumble Head lighthouse and up to the rocky outcrop of Garnwnda . We’re in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, only ¾ mile from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and 5 minutes walk from the Strumble Shuttle bus.
If you’re walking the Coast Path, Garn Fach is about halfway between Trefin and Newport – see the Coast Path distance calculator on our website. And there are plenty of good walks straight from the door.
Breakfast is prepared using Pembrokeshire Produce ingredients, and we can also provide evening meals and packed lunches by prior arrangement.
Although there’s no mobile phone signal in the house, you’re welcome to use our landline and there’s WiFi throughout.
We look forward to meeting you!
We have two rooms, one double and one twin/double, each en-suite with a shower. The rooms are a generous size and both on the ground floor. Each room has tea and coffee (with fresh milk), TV and Radio (Freeview / Freesat), hair dryer, torch.
The double room faces south-east with a view up to Garwnda, and gets morning sun. The twin/double faces south-west, with a view over the fields of Strumble Head, and sun in the evening.
There’s also a comfortable guest lounge with a smart TV, DVD and Hi-Fi, as well as a wood-burning stove to keep you warm.
Although we don’t have any mobile phone reception in the house, you can get a signal on most networks close by, and there’s a landline available. We do have free WiFi throughout the house.
