The Old Bakehouse

The Old Bakehouse is a cafe by day and a restaurant in the evenings. Open seven days a week, using home made bread and cakes with meat fresh from our farm, coming through the butchers shop next door.

We welcome all comers, even dogs in the rear garden and patio. Wifi users welcome, especially holiday makers on bikes or walkers from the world famous coast path. We are as close as you can get to the Last Invasion Tapestry and across the road from the Royal Oak where the French surrender in 1797 was reputed to be signed. The memorial stone to legendary Jemima is less than 50m away in the churchyard of St Mary’s with its wonderful stained glass windows. If you travel by bus we are 10-20m away from the bus stops connecting you to Cardigan, Aberystwyth, St Davids and Haverfordwest.

Our cafe hours are 7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Saturday

Restaurant open for service 6.00-9.00pm daily with Sundays from 8.00-4pm for your roast meat meals – advance booking is advised.

Alcohol can be served only with food.

We also welcome orders for special cakes, private parties and external catering.
