Museums & Galleries

Keep looking to find the feast of local artistic talent; some of it can be seen in two commercial galleries, other through the work of the Fishguard Arts Society with its summer exhibition. But Fishguard’s pride and joy is the great tapestry, in its special gallery upstairs in the Town Hall. This was designed and stitched by local people to mark the triple centenary of the last invasion of Britain, which came ashore just 4 miles away between Goodwick and Strumble Head in 1797.
