Transition Bro Gwuan

Transition Bro Gwaun is a community initiative, one of several hundred world-wide, and is accredited by the UK Transition Network. It aims to motivate and enable the talent of individuals to seek local solutions to the global challenges of resource depletion and climate change

Transition Bro Gwaun is, a community process of imagining and creating a future that addresses the challenges of climate change, resource depletion including expensive oil and gas supplies and an unsustainable economy reliant on growth.  We aim to create the kind of community that makes the future more certain for our children and less dependent on resources from elsewhere.

We have the following major initiatives, to find out more just click on the link:

Awareness Raising

Fishguard, Goodwick and surrounding areas have done it before but this time we fight to kick the oil habit.  In 1797 the French invasion was thwarted after they landed near Goodwick.  The picture below is taken from the tapestry in Fishguard Town Hall.

Come along and get involved!
Standing together we can make the difference.
